Description

Here is another in my continuing series of images of the Integrated Flux Nebulae (IFN) present at high northern celestial latitudes. Also known as High Galactic Cirrus, the IFN are huge areas of dust, faintly illuminated by the integrated light of all the stars in the Milky Way. And I do mean faint! Even at f/2.8, these images take a lot of time to collect enough data. This particular image is about a few degrees southwest of Polaris.
